Vermont Emergency Rental Assistance Programs

Vermont CARES+ Programs:

The Vermont State Housing Authority (VSHA) Rental Housing Stabilization Program (RHSP) is for funding landlords on behalf of tenants in need of rental arrearage assistance due to COVID-19 to avert tenant eviction. Up to 3 months of emergency rental assistance and rental arrearage payments to property owners suffering from non-payment of rent, to prevent tenant evictions and prevent an  increase in family homelessness. Available to all property owners with a maximum of  20 units assisted per owner.
