Oklahoma CARES+ Programs:
The Eviction Mitigation program will provide reimbursements to organizations paying landlords for rental assistance to individuals or families impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Individual and families will be capped at $3,600 in eviction mitigation. Administered through local non-profits, the State is partnering in Tulsa County with Restore Hope, Schusterman Family Foundation, Legal Aid and Community Action and in Oklahoma County with Communities Foundation of Oklahoma, Inasmuch Foundation, Legal Aid, Community Action Partnership and Upward Transitions.
Residents of Oklahoma City and Midwest City with financial losses from COVID-19 may be eligible for emergency payment of rent, mortgage and utilities through the Community Action Agency. Applications are now being accepted. Must provide copies of utility bills, the amount behind on bills, any eviction notices, and check stubs/income tax documents to prove income. OKC residents can get up to $3,600 per household. MWC residents can get up to $1,000. Apply ASAP at www.caaofokc.org or all CAA of OKC locations.

Tulsa Rental Assistance Program
Restore Hope Ministries will use an open-ended grant to pay rents for tenants who received eviction notices while the courts were closed for COVID-19. But landlords will have to agree to a mediation process while not refiling an eviction notice for at least the next three months, officials said.

Tulsa Housing Authority Emergency Rental Assistance Program: Tulsa County
The Tulsa Housing Authority has emergency rental assistance payments available to those who need help paying their rent because of job loss or income reduction due to the coronavirus pandemic, through Tulsa County CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security) funds. This program does not cover missed mortgage payments.
Any household who has past due rent because of job loss or a significant reduction in income due to the pandemic, since the President declared a nationwide emergency on March 13, 2020, is encouraged to apply for assistance. Assistance will be paid on a first come, first served basis until all funds have been exhausted. A household will be eligible for up to three (3) months of past due rent, for a maximum of $3,000.

Hello my name is Nicole I’m behind on my rent 2 months and my lights cause I got hurt at work and they said they were going to pay me and they didn’t and I don’t want to be on the streets with my kids and grand baby .
Good Morning, I am needing rental assistance for this month please, I have my job but for the past month they had me set for a maximum of 4-5 hours a day with 2 days off due to my high risk pregnancy. I am currently on maternity leave as I had my baby at 34 weeks spent 3 days at the hospital and 5 days driving back home and to the hospital every 3 hours to feed my son. Doctors visit immediately after he was released from hospital. I only get 2 checks in one month and both were ridiculously low my highest being at $374.00 I purchased diapers, Gas, Phone bill for doctors.
I am one month behind on rent and one month behind on bills
My rent is $900 my bills all together are $408
Could I please get some assistance this one time. I will be returning to work as soon as my baby is a bit bigger to care for as he is currently only 5 pounds. Thank you.
